Senior Programme Officer – Documentation / Coordination / Compliance

1.  Project Documentation & Record Maintenance

  • Maintain comprehensive records of all project activities, reports, beneficiary lists, and internal documentation.
  • Develop and maintain standardized templates for documentation (narrative, financial summaries, beneficiary feedback, etc.).
  •  Ensure timely collation and archiving project reports and field updates.

2.      Donor Reporting & Software/Data Management

  • Manage and regularly update donor reporting systems/software (especially for hand pumps, orphan support, etc.).
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure accurate and timely entry of data.
  • Generate periodic analytical reports for internal and donor use.

3.  Field Monitoring & Programme Oversight

  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor implementation progress and verify beneficiary information.
  • Document field observations, challenges, and good practices.
  • Provide feedback to programme teams for quality improvement.

4. Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate with programme officers, field teams, and support units to ensure alignment of activities.
  • Support proposal writing and reporting processes by providing timely data and documentation.
  • Represent the programme unit in internal coordination meetings when required.
